I play this one the most and usually use my 360 controller. I'll have to try the Mouse and Keyboard with Medal of Honor Airborn. The ability to slow down the mouse when scanning a wall line as a sniper. Reload, Switching to Grenade without having to use the Scroll button, Strafing with the Thumb Wheel. I do have all the Medal of Honor games installed though and those were easily programmable using Key substitutions. We all know how that works out in PvP mode.

I really like being able to flair the thumb tab out. I finally have it adjusted to where it fits perfectly. He wanted me to test it as a gamer, but I am also a systems engineer and as I explain below, this product has made my hand much more comfortable. I was turned on to this product by a friend of mine. I dont need 12 buttons on a mouse anyway but again some players may not like this about the R.A.T. On the negitive, and like most other gaming mice out there, its not really set up to be used by a left hand player which may pose a problem for some players.Īlso at $99.00 this mouse doesn't come cheap but there are some great deals online for less that may help with this obsticle.Īlso there are not a lot of buttons to customize on this mouse but it suits me fine. There is so much I could say positive about this mouse its defently worth the investment in my opintion. The cord is a braided cloth with gold a plated USB connection. There are a couple of ruberized grips that come with the RAT7 that gives this mouse a nice feel of stability. There is also a red precision aim button at your thumb (assuming your right handed) that will slow the movement of the mouse dramatically with out having to change the DPI settings for those precise moments like sniping. There is 4 different levels of sensitivity which is a nice feature on its own and at 5600 DPI on high sensitivity it don't take much to launch the curser right off the screen. The scroll wheel is very smooth and quiet. The R.A.T.7 can become wider and longer for larger hands.

The R.A.T.7 has a lot of custom options that can been seen at this link However after giving it a few weeks it feels so natural in the palm of my hand. I will be honest and say that at first I was unsure if I made a good decision or not. Overall I am pleased and this mouse grows on me more everyday. I am used to the feel of the logitech G5 gaming mouse and the R.A.T 7 has a completely feel. This mouse will defently take a little getting used to at first. Imagine you took a nice gaming mouse and backed a car over it! that might give you an idea what this mouse looks like at first glance.
